Also Tandem – A New Etsy Adventure

My relationship with etsy continues to evolve.

Back in April I shared my thoughts & feelings about vintage on etsy, and Tandem’s place in it.

It’s been good since then. I am hand-picking items for our shop, photographing and listing them with care. Not at the volume I would like, but it’s a busy offline season around here.

In choosing the items to list in tandemstudios on etsy, however, I am running across items that I don’t want to include there but that warrant selling somewhere. What to do? Steve is the one who suggested we open another shop, a sort of Tandem back room if you will.

also Tandem. That’s the name we came up with, after I rejected Tandem Too, Tandem II, Tandem Attic, Basement, Shed or any other room name or house appendage. also Tandem.

So far it is acting as a catch-all for the cute and kitschy, but there are also supplies, parts and ephemera coming its way. Buttons (I have some wonderful old buttons) and beads and letters and such. You’ll see.
