Why “Tandem”?
It totally describes us — living, working, buying, selling and creating together. Just like two people on a tandem bicycle, we have to work together or the whole thing grinds to a halt.
What exactly do you do?
We look for the unusual, the rare, the truly one-of-a-kind . We are drawn to form, design, patina, quality.
We are not disciplined enough to focus on any one era or style of merchandise. Consequently we deal in everything from primitive Americana to mid-century modern, from jewelry to art to furniture, and love to put them together in ways that may surprise you.
Steven and I offer our selections at antique shows throughout the year, as well as year-round at our shop in Hudson NY – Warren Street Antiques. And although we love to meet people and sell face-to-face, we are excited to add this website to our venues.
In addition to all this work stuff, we are also raising two boys and one dog, and hanging out with a bunch of wonderful but maddening teenagers in our Youth Group. Rarely a dull moment in our world!
