Off to Brimfield!!

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have a wonderful day!

We are not A) going out to brunch or B) sending me off for a day at the spa. While both of those would be just fine with me ordinarily, tomorrow has a different agenda. We are off to Brimfield!

We will be there all week shopping, selling and promoting the Round Lake and Cooperstown antique shows that we manage. And I am totally looking forward to it! I love the energy, the bustle, the STUFF! And the people – this is a terrific opportunity for me to catch up…

A Few More Shots of High Point Market

Today was the first official day of the show at Antique & Design Center, High Point NC. Below are a few pictures from our booth.

Tomorrow morning is a big event – the beginning of ADC’s VandM-sponsored lecture series for this Market, kicked off by Leslie Carothers and Jennifer Mehditash’s talk on Pinterest + Olioboard: From Inspiration to Income, at 10am in the Mezzanine lecture area. Steve and I are hosting breakfast to accompany the talk, and are so excited to be partnering (working in tandem!) with our colleagues on this event. We hope to see you there!

Doing the Biz: An Open Letter to Spouses

A lot of folks in the antiques biz work alone.

But many either work at it with their spouse/partner/sig. other, or at least have one somewhere in the background.  This post is for you.
