Hudson NY is entertaining and filled with visual delights every day of the year. But one of the special, light-up, circle-on-your-calendar-you-gotta-be-there days is quickly approaching.
This Saturday, 12/1/12, is Hudson’s Annual Winter Walk celebration! Sponsored by the Hudson Opera House, this is the day that Hudson welcomes winter – crisp air, twinkling lights, eggnog, horse-drawn wagon rides (as well as belly dancers, apparently!) And the living is … Busy?
I hope you are having a wonderful summer. We are, although I wouldn’t mind a free moment to sit back and appreciate it.
I am beginning to look forward to September and the start of the school year (bite your tongue, Mom!) so I can catch a little break in the excitement. Our plates are full this season with antique shows, family trips and working with our youth group. What is filling your calendar this summer?

Hi there! I’ve been doing a bunch of thinking lately. Thinking about business in general and about business in our Hudson shop and about plans for the High Point Market show in April. Lots of thinking. (cue ominous music.)
There is a relationship between antiques/vintage sellers like Steve and I and the decorators, designers and retailers that we serve. You guys (you designers, decorators, retailers) are a huge and important part of our clientele, and I personally want to do this relationship better.
