Off to Brimfield!!

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have a wonderful day!

We are not A) going out to brunch or B) sending me off for a day at the spa. While both of those would be just fine with me ordinarily, tomorrow has a different agenda. We are off to Brimfield!

We will be there all week shopping, selling and promoting the Round Lake and Cooperstown antique shows that we manage. And I am totally looking forward to it! I love the energy, the bustle, the STUFF! And the people – this is a terrific opportunity for me to catch up…

Round Lake Antiques Festival, brought to you by… US!

Well, that’s not completely true. The Round Lake Antiques Festival (June 22/23 this year) has been around for 40+ years and is hosted by the Women’s Round Lake Improvement Society. It is a fundraiser for Round Lake’s charming village library.

But some changes have taken place, and WRLIS has hired me and Steven to manage the show! We are so excited! I don’t have to tell you how much we love the Round Lake show or how fond we have become of the village and the folks who live there. I’ve written about it here more than once! (read…

It’s a busy season around Tandem-ville, and I’ll bet it’s a busy season where you are as well.

Summer is beginning, the kids are out of school (and bored. Already.) Invitations to BBQs, graduations and parties are arriving.

Steve and I are preparing for two of our biggest events of the summer:  The Round Lake Antique Festival this coming weekend, June 25 & 26, and the Cooperstown Antique Show the next weekend.
