How was your Thanksgiving? I hope it was lovely – filled with family and friends, food and drink.

Saturday at the Flea, Southern Style

We’re down in North Carolina, visiting my mom. I love the annual April trip, because I get a taste of full-blown spring while it’s still kind of late-March-ish at home. Down here the azaleas are already blown, and I think it hit 80 today. Sweet.

On Saturday we hit our favorite flea market in Raleigh. And it was fun.

Re-Launch of our Etsy Shop, and Why it was a Hard Decision

I love etsy. I just want to get that straight right up front.

I’ve loved etsy since way back before a bunch of you even heard of it. July of 2006, to be exact.

Initially I opened my etsy shop as a venue for my artwork. Didn’t know I made art, did you? That’s because I don’t anymore, at least not until my kids go to college, or something. That’s a WHOLE other blog post.

So my love affair with etsy has handmade roots. And back then, that was the only option. There was no “vintage” on etsy.
