Ahhh…Hudson. We spent today in our shop on Warren Street. It was hot and steamy, but that didn’t deter the shoppers. And it didn’t deter me either – I took the opportunity (between customers) to clean, dust and re-arrange. I added some new smalls to the shop’s offerings, sold off some old ones for cheap, and generally tried to freshen the joint up a bit.

It’s a busy season around Tandem-ville, and I’ll bet it’s a busy season where you are as well.
Summer is beginning, the kids are out of school (and bored. Already.) Invitations to BBQs, graduations and parties are arriving.
Steve and I are preparing for two of our biggest events of the summer: The Round Lake Antique Festival this coming weekend, June 25 & 26, and the Cooperstown Antique Show the next weekend.

Thumbing through the pages of House Beautiful I spotted a lamp that I think belonged to us at some point. It’s completely plausible that it came from Warren Street Antiques, the brick & mortar shop in Hudson NY that we share with 3 partners. Even though our store looks nothing like the gorgeous homes in my favorite shelter mags, all the elements are there.
The other day our partner David’s son stopped in our shop to visit and they took a walk up Warren St. together.
